September: Singing with the Stars

September 22, 2009

One of the greatest pleasures I have in my musical career is working with the most talented people in the world! Here are a couple of them that I have had the honor of singing with recently:

Danny Elfman, on the score of the upcoming film Wolfman:

Josh Groban, who’s just started working on his next CD, and had a 6-voice group of us gals in for one number so far:

My next appearance is with Sixth Wave at the Coffee Gallery in Altadena!
As a special treat this time, Down 4 The Count ( will be sharing the venue with us so you get two a cappella groups for the price of one!

Here are the details…

Wednesday September 30th 8:00pm

2029 N. Lake
Altadena, CA. 91001
Reservations/Information: (626) 398-7917

The Coffee Gallery Backstage is a 49 seat show room connected to a coffee house surprisingly called, “The Coffee Gallery.” The Backstage is a listening room with a nice sound system, good lights, comfortable seating and a killer atmosphere. We had standing room only last time there so please call right away to make reservations. At 49 seats, it fills up quick!

Keep tuning in:
You can hear me with Cindy Bourquin, Gerald White, Tim Davis, and Alvin Chea on the current season of “Glee!” this fall. We sing the a cappella bumpers!

Coming up:
Beethoven’s Wig is in Torrance, CA with the Torrance Symphony on November 14.

I’ve written a guidebook with John West on how to be a session singer in Hollywood. It has all of the basics on everything from session etiquette to unions to moving to L.A. Click HERE to get it!
